Leigh Akeroyd – Secretary

My name is Leigh Akeroyd, and I serve as the Secretary for our Kzn Emmaus Community. I was a pilgrim on Walk #120 in 2019, an experience that ignited my passion for Emmaus and deepened my desire to serve within this faith-filled community.

I am blessed to be married to Nic and now have a blended family that keeps life full and interesting. My husband has his own business, where I’m blessed to be able to work with him from home. My daughter is almost 23 and currently completing a chef’s internship in New Orleans, my stepson is nearly 21 and has recently started a full-time job, and my stepdaughter is almost 16 and has just started Grade 10.

Finding my personal relationship with Christ as my Saviour has been life-changing. To be able to serve Him and be His hands and feet is a privilege.
