Alan Lukan – IT & Communication

Alan was born in Chingola, Zambia in 1960.
He was brought up in Zimbabwe and relocated to South Africa in 1982.
Alan is married to Theresa and they have 3 boys who are all happily married and located in Durban, Cape Town and Portugal.
Alan & Theresa currently worship at Trinity Methodist Church in La Lucia in Durban.
Alan has some 40 years business experience in sales & marketing and general management, in a variety of market segments.
Alan was a Pilgrim on Emmaus walk #87 in 2010, and has worked in Support, as an Assistant Table Leader, Table Leader and Assistant Lay Director, until joining the Board in 2025.
He is responsible for It & Communication, which involves the maintenance of the website, communication of all events to the community, via the sms portal and WhatsApp group, as well as the upkeep of the community database.
