Blessings all,

I am humbled and honoured to have been asked to be Community Lay Director for 2023. I do not think any of us realised the blessing that 2022 turned out to be. So much of it was positive, yet a little negative, but I think it is so important that we all continue to look for God working even in the unusual and 2022 falls in there.

Through the KwaZulu-Natal Community God blessed three amazing Walks, two Flights and an Encounter during this past year, and I know that lives were changed. As we move into preparations for 2023, I hope you will use discernment and join in as much as possible with our Community and Holy Spirit as we press forward.

God will continue to lead but I feel we must really press in and discern exactly what and where He is leading. Prayers for each community member to discern His calling in furthering these ministries is valued and for community members to step out and to sponsor pilgrims and butterflies.

My word for 2023 is “Intentional”. I believe we must be intentional in seeking His guidance. The world is shouting so loudly right now that it would be easy to get off track, but the Lord is still in the transforming business. He is still calling each of us to be intentional in being disciples and in making disciples.
* Who are you investing in?
* Who is investing in you?
* Who will never join in relationship with Christ if you do not share with them?

Let us be intentional in our love for Christ and let our love for one another shine bright during 2023.

Face to Face Encounter # 131 takes place next month at Upper Umgeni Presbyterian Church, Howick and you are encouraged to sponsor and to attend send off, candlelight and closing.

More details can be found on the CALENDAR page on the website.

Looking forward to meeting and seeing you at one of these events.

De Colores,
Nigel
